Two Step

The 2 step sparring is not set as it used to be. Instead the instructor (or examiner/narrator at grading) will give instructions as to what the attacks should be. The defender will take a parallel ready stance position while the attacker will always step back into right L.S. forearm guarding block position.

However, in order to assist more junior students we have included below some previous examples of 2 step sparring routines. The starting position for the attacker is always in R.L.S forearm guarding block.
