Mr Gerry Mooney is a 4th degree black belt certified by the International Taekwon-do Federation (ITF) and recognised in Ireland by the Irish Taekwon-do Association (ITA). Mr Mooney runs Clontarf TKD and also trains with Mr Niall Jones (VI Degree) at Killester Taekwon-do Club. Mr Mooney has won numerous INTA National and International Open titles. He has also medalled at other International, European and World Taekwon-do events including winning an overall best in division World Cup title in Italy in 2008. Mr Mooney has since gone on to win the World Cup for a second time in Hungary in 2016.

Mr Mooney is certified by the Irish Sports Council in Child Protection, Certificate number 22461 and is Garda Vetted by the Irish Martial Arts Commission. Mr Mooney is a Level 1 certified coach. The Level 1 coaching certificate is the minimum qualification required of instructors by the Irish Martial Arts Commission before an individual can be the lead instructor in a Taekwon-Do Club, and is accredited by Coaching Ireland and the Irish Sports Council. He is also a coach on the Irish National Team.

Ms Rebecca Mooney is a 2nd degree black belt certified by the International Taekwon-do Federation. Ms Mooney has won everything there is to win at National level including numerous National,International and Irish Cup titles.

Ms Mooney is a multiple medalist at World and European level. She has won back to back European championship titles in 2016 and 2017 and is also the 2017 World Champion at -45kg sparring. Rebecca is also a black belt in kickboxing.

Emma Mooney is a 1st degree black belt and excels in special technique. In 2017 she became ITA National Champion once again. Emma also became British Open champion in both special technique and sparring in London in November 2017.
