Clontarf TKD charity page

The Club aims to be in a position to assist local charities during the year. We will keep our members up to date with all initiatives to raise funds for charity.

Cycle for Matthew; August 2015

The Club is delighted to be able to provide some sponsorship for the Mighty Matthew Coast to Coast cycle taking place on 21st

and 22nd August from Clontarf to Westport. Funds raised go to a local teenager with autism to help him reach his full potential and helping his family deal with the daily challenges. The Mighty Matthew Trust has expressed its gratitude to the Club for our donation of €500. We are delighted to be able to help a local family in this way. We wish all the cyclists the very best of luck.

November 2014
Clontarf TKD made an end of year donation of €500 to St Francis Hospice. Congratulations to local man Jimmy Whelan who raised additional funds with his charity walks around the area.

Easter 2014
Clontarf TKD donated a large number of easter eggs to the A&E department at the Childrens' Hospital in Crumlin. The hospital staff were a pleasure to deal with and were very grateful for the donation.

Philip O'Gorman from Killester TKD recently shaved his head for charity. We made a modest donation to Philip and you can too. We understand the pressures on people at this time of year but anything you can donate is greatly appreciated. Just click on the link below to donate and mention Clontarf TKD so Philip knows where you are. Many thanks.
